[Group chart] dual Nic binding, real m speed! Step by step teach you how to bind and use !!

Preparations:

Material: m Nic two (any brand), Nic express performanise4.0 (can be downloaded in http://www.ah8888.com), one switch with trunk (smart switch generally with this function)

System Support: Windows9X, me, 2000, XP, and 2003 systems (this post only describes WindowsXP)

Applicability: diskless, VOD, game servers, etc.

I. Installation of hardware

1. Install the NIC

In this case, the number of NICS is determined by the switch. If your switch supports four trunks, You can bind four NICs: 4 * around 88m speed

Nic installation is exactly the same as normal installation.

2. Switch and network cable

First, get the instruction, and find out how many trunks the vswitch supports. Generally, eight vswitches support two ports and four groups of trunks. The theoretical speed of full duplex is: 200*200 = 400 m. This article describes two trunk switches.

Connect the network cable to ports 1 and 2 of the vswitch respectively, and connect the network cable to the dual-nic

Ii. Hardware settings

Step 1: Set the trunk of the vswitch

Use telnet to log on to your vswitch (different vswitch login methods). Go to the trunk settings page and set it to as shown in!

Step 2: Install the NIC

Install your network card correctly, and set the IP address and IP address of a network card (in this example: 192. 168. 0. 34 255. 255. 255. 0). The other part is not set.

Iii. Software Installation

The installation of NIC Express is actually very simple, and can work well without any configuration.

Double-click it to start the installation program, press enter all the way, the software prompts to enter the unlock key (Registration Code), if there is no registration code, you have to choose to try, trial is 30 days, how to do the registration code? (Find a solution, find me, and I have it)

After this figure is displayed, we still select next and do not set it!

Note: Load Balancing)

After this step, you must enter a text in the drop-down menu (this text will be a new connection generated later), click the NIC allocated with an IP address, and then click Add, will you be prompted to use the IP address of the Nic? Select "yes", select another network card, and click "add ".

After loading all the NICS, click OK! Continue Our installation!

Wait a moment to see:

Click OK without any settings! Click Finish!

Nic Express has been installed!

Iv. Nic express settings

Select the NIC express Enterprise Edition option in the execution menu and click the advanced option!

Note: Change the default value: change status ppackets to Auto detect, and then change Nic express ELB to FEC/GEC trunking. The order cannot be reversed!

Click OK! The software settings are now complete, very easy :)

After all the settings are complete, shut down the computer and then shut down the switch! One minute after the switch is stopped, start the computer after the switch is fully started (this step is required !)

All the work is done. Let's test the speed!

Traffic when no files are called on the LAN! It can be seen that there is no traffic between adapter 1 and adapter 2 (if the trunk is used on a non-trunk switch, the dual Nic has about 20 mb of traffic when the file is not transferred, it is obvious that, this traffic is not real !)

The traffic diagram after two machines in the LAN call the file! From this, we can easily find that both adapter 1 and adapter 2 are well allocated to traffic, and the network speed has also increased from the previous: 88 MB/s to the current 155 Mb/s. So far, our goal has been achieved!
