Bind multiple IP addresses to a server

First, let's talk about what --
1: customers have requirements on the same server: If you all use the same IP address (multiple sites share one IP address), one site will be pulled to the Sandbox System or blacklist by Baidu or Google, in this case, other sites will be implicated. At this time, the customer requires an IP address to be exclusive, so as not to be implicated.
2: used for Seo optimization. We all know that "site group" optimization is very popular. We use multiple sites or blogs to point to the optimized site domain name with the keyword of the anchor link, however, site group optimization cannot be performed on the same IP address, so the search engine will regard it as cheating, at this time, we need to bind the IP addresses (one blog is bound to one IP address) to multiple website blogs in the group created by ourselves on the same server for site group optimization.

Server Environment Windows2003 System
Steps:
1. In the lower left corner of the server's screen, choose Start> Control Panel> network connection> local connection. Right-click and choose Properties.

 

2: Select TCP-IP -- Properties

-- Click "advanced" in the lower right corner of the property tag

-- Click "add" in the IP Address Bar of IP settings.

-- Fill in the IP address and subnet mask used by each blog site

-- Click "add". The newly added IP address is displayed.

-- Click "OK" (click to close two small windows) -- click "close" to close the local connection attribute window.

3. on the server, choose "Start Menu"> "Management Tools"> "IIS" manager in the lower left corner of the screen.

-- Right-click the website with the IP address -- Properties

-- In the open website Properties window, select the IP address we configured in step 2.

-- Click "OK" to complete IP configuration

4. Restart IIS.

Note: After we bind the site IP address, we also need to resolve the domain name to the IP address we just bound, and then bind the Host Header in the site just now. In this way, you can access the website with a domain name.
