Block chains how to avoid the danger of futuristic-Bitcoin development

We've all heard how Bitcoin will implement an unmanned ubers to refuel and pay for itself, without any human intervention in the process.


It all sounds possible, but honestly it's not going to happen in a short time.


There are no driverless cars on highways outside of Silicon Valley, so to be fair, the car to pump deal is not the biggest challenge for a block-chain community, no matter how exciting or compelling.


Don't get me wrong, I mean it's not going to happen, it's not a good use case that should be done right away, or it should be dominant in a broad discussion.


As a community, we must be careful not to overemphasize the doctrine of the future. Bitcoin and block chains can solve current problems instead of using these examples to remind the public that we often resort to distant ideas to state our situation and strengthen our views.


Again, I'm not saying that we should stop innovating, or that this idea is necessary for innovation. Instead, we need to use this technology to find ingenious ways to solve today's user problems.


Meet the practicality


But what we can achieve now.


Maybe the scene isn't gorgeous now. One of the most remarkable things networking devices today is the Amazon Dash, a Wi-Fi network connected to devices that can reorder products. Whether it is as peculiar as the smart fridge. Of course not, but it does solve a problem.


Maybe we can create a solution that allows users to send money to their children, only for natural gas purchases or for use in school buildings. Or we can build a vending machine that donates 5% of its revenue to the smart watt-hour meter in Africa to keep school lights on.


How to establish a company that can charge for each item of production. When combined with multiple signature techniques, it even has a revenue sharing model.


These ideas may not be tenable, but at least they are reasonable for today's teams and products.


Who would have known. Maybe someone will read these ideas and come up with a better way.

By watching some 30-year-old sci-fi films, one thing we should be aware of is that people's predictions of technology are scary.


The reason is that we are basing these projections on today's background. When we try and make arrangements for the next ten years, we assume we will use smartphones because we know they exist. Do you remember what people think about smartphones 10 years ago? Most people still call them mobile phones.


That is why it is hard to persuade a board or venture capitalist to invest in a new product if it does not see the return on investment. So, tell them how to combine the smart contract with the Internet of things, the chances of success are much greater.


With the block chain technology, based on the intelligent contract coding conditions, connected devices can now safely record information or functions.


This is a very simple but powerful feature that may derive products from many industries outside of financial services. Working with people in these industries and understanding their problems will be a good starting point.


SpaceX (American Space Exploration technology company) is doing very well, we need enterprise innovation to impact our ideas. But more of us want to have cheap space travel, which is more meaningful than solving today's traffic problems.


As intelligent contracts run on block chains, we should expect the same kind of incremental innovation. However, we should first pursue a yellow taxi and then consider space travel.
