Come on, everybody's Got a SP2 patch for their system now. I don't know if you noticed. After the SP2 patch, an option called Set Program Access and defaults is added to the Add/Remove Programs dialog box in Control Panel, as shown in Figure 1. Set Program Access and defaults simplifies the process of specifying default programs for activities such as Internet surfing and sending e-mail. In addition, users can also specify programs that can be accessed from the Start menu, the desktop, and other locations. This function can give us a great convenience to set the program, but if you are sharing a computer with others, then, other people through this function casually modify our set up a good program will bring us no small trouble. If you do not like the function, you may want to shield it, its effect as shown in Figure 2, a careful comparison between the two graphs can be seen differently.

Method One: Registration Form method
Click Start to run, enter "Regedit" in the Run dialog box, and open Registry Editor when you return.
Step two expands the following branches in turn:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies], right-click on "Policies" and create a new "item" named "Uninstall".
Step three selects the newly created "uninstall", creates a new DWORD value in the window on the right, names "NoChooseProgramsPage", double-clicks it, modifies its numeric data to "1", as shown in Figure 3, clicks the OK button and closes the Registry Editor.
