While expanding its search-based advertising business, Google did not forget its blog website users and proposed a way to make them earn extra money.

Google's blog Service issued a notice to its users this week, urging them to join Google's Adsense program to share advertising revenue. This AdSense plan automatically displays suitable Advertisements based on the keywords in the content of a website. Google will return part of the advertising revenue calculated based on clicks to the publisher of the website.

Google previously put ads on its Blogspot service on its blog pages, but did not share revenue with the bloggers. They removed all the ads last week, and Biz Stone, a senior blog expert at the company, sent an email saying, "We used to make money from those ads, however, you have not gotten any points. Now, we invite you to set up your own blog and use your AdSense account to make money ."

The banners and advertisements previously placed on Blog web pages hosted on Blogspot are now replaced by blog browsing items, which include a simple query box for Google search on Blog web pages, another name is blogthis! .

Google declined to comment on changes to its blog service, because it is still in the "quiet" period of its first public listing stipulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company's shares started trading last week.

Even so, Google's "lure" blogger's decision shows that they want to attract more bloggers to actively participate in the advertising and display of sponsorship connections, at the same time, they also need to further increase the number of non-Google content websites carrying their advertisements, which is good for both users and advertisers.

Google introduced this kind of business that expanded keyword ads to websites outside its search range last year. Advertising is of great significance to Google's financial position. 95% of their revenue last year came from advertising revenue.

Biz Stone said in an email that participation in the AdSense program was voluntary and the sponsorship connection plan was open to all bloggers, including those who use blog services or software from other companies, but he did not mention details such as the specific proportion of the allocation, but users can choose normal text ads or Google's new image ads.
