Reason Analysis:
You need to press F7 to turn off the ACPI features of XP during Setup. Because XP is older, XP ACPI does not support some special features in the BIOS.
Solution:
1. Modify the "BIOS"-"Configuration"-"SATA controller Mode" to "compatible" to modify the hard drive compatibility mode.
2. Through the installation of XP process, when out "press F6 if you need to install ..." When prompted, click the "F7" button, normal installation.
Note:
Because the ACPI Advanced Power management feature is turned off, in Windows XP, other power management operations, such as sleep, hibernation, and so on, are prompted to "you can safely shut down" when you shut down, and you need to press the power switch again to shut down properly. This is the normal behavior caused by turning off the ACPI feature. If you want to have a better operating experience, we recommend installing Windows 7 or Windows 8 systems for this notebook.
