Because most of the online Chinese descriptions of bootchart tools are outdated, this log is generated.
Bootchart is a convenient tool for analyzing the Linux startup process. The results obtained by this tool can be used as a reference for optimizing the startup speed. after the tool is directly installed in a newer release, that is, a chart showing the time taken to start each component at system startup will be generated at the next system startup. This chart is located in the/var/log/bootchartdirectory, and the format is .png, taking Mint Linux as an example:
Installation:
Sudo apt-get install bootchart
After the system is restarted, view the/var/log/bootchart directory to view the time used to start each part of the system;
