Bootmgrismissing solution appears in the system. Special attention should be paid to the installation of systems on dell servers.
This article is intended for Dell r530 servers. Only for memo.
Install the system. Simply follow the prompts. Here we only list several issues that need special attention during system installation: bootmgr is missing.
A few days ago, I just bought a powage r530 server from the Dell official website. raid1 is configured and the system is not installed. So I installed it myself.
Note 1:
The server system can be installed with a USB flash drive, but the USB flash drive must be a boot disk. The pe mode cannot be used to install the system! The so-called boot disk is to burn an iso system file to a USB flash disk.
NOTE 2:
When installing the system, the system hard disk will not be found. You need to burn the server's array card driver together into the USB flash disk.
NOTE 3:
After finding the system hard disk, You need to partition the hard disk. At this time, note that there is a default small partition, which is about MB or 2 GB. This is the partition where the system retains the startup information and cannot be deleted!
The preceding three points are important points. Now, bootmgr is missing occurs;

The first time I installed the system with a USB flash drive, it was successful. Then we can see the reserved partition in the system (the one mentioned in Figure 3 above ). It looked quite uncomfortable, so I deleted the partition!
The problem occurs as soon as the result is deleted! After the system is restarted, The bootmgr is missing error always occurs. The methods found on the Internet are not targeted at the server system, and they do not work at all! Not even try to reinstall the system!
The result is helpless. You can only reload the array card information and redo raid1. This process is very slow and takes more than an hour to complete. Then you can reload the system!
So you can neither Delete the M partition, nor hide it. If you stay in the system, it will be uncomfortable. What should you do?
It can be solved as follows:
In the step of installing the system and partitioning (note 3), we should first divide the other partitions and leave the space for the system disk partition, such as 1 TB hard disk, GB as the D disk, and GB as the E disk, the remaining 300 GB is used as the system disk (disk C). The first two partitions are 500 and 200, and the remaining is in the unallocated status. In this case, select the system reserved partition (MB), select the extension method, add the GB, and then install the system into the partition!
The image is not retained, so only the process is left for use only as a memo.
