Break and continue in JavaScript

Source: Internet
Author: User

1. Break

The break statement immediately exits the loop, forcing the statement after the loop to execute

var num = 0;  for (var i=1;i<10;i++) {    if(i%5 = = 0)        {break;    }    Num+ +;} alert (num); // returns 4
2, continue

Continue exits the secondary loop and then resumes the next loop

var num = 0;  for (var i=1;i<10;i++) {    if(i%5 = = 0)        {continue;    }    Num+ +;} alert (num); // returns 8

I=5, exit when the secondary loop, no execution num++,num last return 8
