Bitwise operators regard operands as a series of separate bits, rather than a numerical value. So before that, we have to mention what is "bit ":
Values or characters are stored in the memory as sequences of 0 and 1. Each 0 and 1 is called a single digit, for example, 10-digit data 2 is stored in a computer as 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0. 1 & operator
