Broadcom is a widely used GPS sensor for Windows 8 (3G) tablets, and its Windows drivers can provide a GNSS interface. The data provided by the GNSS interface is actually better than the average phone's data. In the boot, outdoor, no AGPS auxiliary state, within 20 seconds to complete the positioning. Perhaps this is due to the Windows tablet battery comparison hum, can be assigned to the sensor power is relatively large bar! However, Windows navigation programs, including Igo and Garmin, cannot read data directly from the GNSS interface. The GNSS interface does not provide NMEA data, and most navigation programs cannot support it.
So what do we do?
1) tools for GNSS data to be turned to NMEA data: http://support.black-it.eu/en/pr ... erface/download.htm
The software will know how to use it at a glance. The problem is that it's the COM port. Actually the physical COM port, basically cannot receive the simulation data.
2) make a virtual COM port just fine:
Follow the tips of Http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s &st=0#entry23854513, I tried the Tibbo. This program was originally used to implement Com-tcp/ip-com, a cross-host COM port communication. However, at this point we can use its virtual COM program, because the virtual port can be directly written data.
2.1) Download Tibbo 32-bit program: Http://tibbo.com/downloads/secure/tdst-5-09-10-x86.exe

To open these two links in a browser, then register for free and get the installer.
2.2) Installation
When installing Tibbo, just select the core files to do it. We just have to drive it. Then "Run with Administrator privileges" C:\Program files\tibbo\tdst\tvspman.exe. If you do not manage permissions, you will need to restart your computer to take effect after you set it up-how disgusting! Add two COM ports to the program interface: both COM ports must be set to Client/server, then set as follows
In fact, I recommend setting up UDP rather than TCP. But it doesn't matter, just let them pass the data.
3) Return to the GNSS Data interface program and let it output to one of the virtual ports. Then, in the GNSS Data interface program, specify the location of the navigation program installation.
After the GNSS Data interface program starts, locates, invokes the navigation program through its menu: Searches the GPS port, the god horse situation, unexpectedly succeeds!
Of course, there is also a relatively cold Centrafuse Localizerservice program, which can accomplish the above two functions. But, Dick Silk, no money! It's nice to have it for free!
Measured: Compatible with Garmin IGO. In this way, the WINDOWS8 tablet has a variety of options, do not have to choose high Germany (not to belittle the meaning of the German)
