Red brick walls in Photoshop before how to make our column has been an article introduction (related article 1, related article 2). Here we introduce a method of making stone walls.
1. Create a new 500*500 pixel document with the foreground and background colors set to black and white respectively. Open the channel panel, click the "Create New channel" button under the channel panel, create a new channel, and name it "shape" (Figure 01). Select Filter > Texture > Stained glass, apply stained glass filter, parameter settings as shown in Figure 02. The effect is shown in Figure 03.

3. Hold down the CTRL key and click the "shape" channel to load the channel as a selection. Back to the layers panel, create a new layer, named "Cement", choose the paint bucket tool, optional color, to fill the selection color. (Figure 06)

4. Keep the selection in step, create a new layer, name "Stone 1", select a selection (Ctrl+shift+i), and choose a color to fill the selections (preferably not in the same color as in the previous step). Feather the selection by 5 pixels (menu "Selection > Feather", shortcut key Ctrl+alt+d), as shown in Figure 07.
