Build an Android Development Environment
1. Preparation
The Android system is mainly developed based on the java language. Before you start, you must prepare the following operating environment and programs:
Decompress the downloaded package.
2 ADT Installation
The online course describes how to install ADT online. Here we will mainly explain how to install ADT locally.
(1) After JDK 6 is installed, start the decompressed Eclipse.
(2) On the menu bar, choose Help --> Install New SoftWare. The following interface is displayed:

(3) Click the Add button. The following interface is displayed. In the Name field of the interface, enter Android. In the Loction field, click Archive and select "quasi ".

(4) Click OK. On the 2.3 page, select Developer Tools.

(5) Click next. The 2.4 page is displayed.

(6) Click next. the 2.5 page appears. Select I accept the terms of the license agreements and click Finish,
Click OK if the warning box is displayed during installation.

(8) after the installation is complete, the 2.6 page appears. You must restart Eclipse. Click Yes.

(9) after Eclipse is restarted, if the robot logo appears in Eclipse, it indicates that the ADT is successfully installed.

3. Install the SDK
(1) Click the menu Window --> Preferences --> Android to display the 3.1 page.

(2) Click Browse and select the decompressed SDK. Be sure to select the root directory containing multiple program folders, 3.2

(5) Click OK and then click OK to complete SDK installation.
4. Create a virtual phone (simulator)
(1) Click the robot icon in the menu or the menu Window --> Android sdk and avd manager. The following page is displayed:

(2) On the page shown in Figure 4.1, if you click the second Installed Packages item on the left and then click the Update All button, you can

Select to download the API of different SDK versions. Click new on the right to create a mobile phone simulator on the 4.2 page. Note: Yes.

(3) Click Create AVD to display the 4.3 page.

(4) Select the SDK to be started, click the Start button on the right, and then click Lunch to Start the simulator in the Option box that appears.
5. Create the first Android Project
(1) In the menu bar, choose File> new> Other> Android Project, 5.1

(2) Click next. The page 5.2 is displayed. Enter the project name in Proje ct name, and select the expected bui ld Target.
