1. First download the IDE (integrated development environment), and eclipse is the first. You can install the SDK in the following ways:

Choose your platform, Ubuntu is android-sdk_r04-linux_86.tgz

3. Install Android ADT plug-in for eclipse
Open eclipse (version 3.5 and later versions are generally the same) and click Help-> install new software ..
Click Add on the right of work with to add Software
Site. Enter http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/in the URL of the pop-up dialog box.
A name. Click OK to find the software on the site. Wait a while. Enter WST in the filter box. The results are displayed in the following list box. Select WST.
Server adapters. Then add the site and enter the URL

Select all software, click Next, and select to receive license. Then, restart eclipse.
4. Add the Android platform to the SDK
Go to the subdirectory under the android SDK directory, such as android-sdk-linux_86/tools, and run Android, which starts Android SDK and AVD packager. Select the Platform SDK you want to install in the available packages.
Generally, select a newer platform, but if you want your software to run on different Android platforms, select as many options as possible.
