Build an FTP server in win7

STEP/Method

1. First, create a user on the local machine! These users are used to log on to FTP! Right-click my computer and choose "manage"> "Local User" and "group"> "user"> "right-click" create user "> enter the user name and password and click" CREATE!

2. The second is to create two folders, FTP upload and FTP download, in drive C! And put different files in each folder to differentiate!

3. Then install the IIS component! Choose "start"> "Control Panel"> "add or delete programs"> "Add/delete Windows Components"> "Application Server"> "Internet Information Service"> "->" FTP server ">" OK ". -> complete! In this way, the FTP is installed on the server!

4. Finally, configure the FTP server to create the upload and download services! Create an upload server: Right-click a website and choose add FTP site from the shortcut menu. You can enter the description as needed. The address is generally your own IP address, port 21-> physical path pointing to "C: \ FTP upload-> access permissions need to hook up "read" and "write"-> Click Finish to create the upload service! 5. Finally, we can test whether the FTP server we just created is successfully established. Enter the following address in the browser: ftp: // 192.168.9.3 to open the FTP page with the upload function. Enter ftp: // 192.168.9.3: 2121 to open the page with only the download function! • Before logging on to the FTP server, make sure that your Microsoft FTP service is started.
