We all know that Mac is required for developing mobile applications on ios platforms such as iPhone, but Mac is expensive, therefore, we can use VMWare to install the Mac operating system on Windows 7 to simulate the ios development environment to reduce costs.

3. Installation Process

A. Install VMWare

 

Check whether the CPU supports the virtualization detection tool securable.exe

I'm from Lenovo, Win 7,

Detected

It indicates that the instance is in the disabled status (Locked OFF does not indicate whether the CPU is supported or not. Please go to the BIOS of the motherboard to check whether the VT switch is enabled. After the switch is enabled, if it is displayed as ON, the operation succeeds. If it is still OFF, the CPU is not supported.

My Setup process is as follows: restart -- F1--BIOS -- Advanced -- cpu Setup -- intel Virtualization alization Technology -- Enabled -- F10 save and exit.

Download the Vmware installation package and install it directly.

 

 

B. Install the Mac patch of VMWare.

Download the patch file and decompress it. Open the windows directory of the Installation File, right-click and run install. cmd as an administrator.

 

 

C. Create a virtual machine

After VMWare is installed, select "file" --- "create VM" to go To the VM creation page, as shown in the following figure.

Select Custom and click Next

Select "Install the operating system later" and click "Next"

Select "Apple Mac OS X" for the operating system type, select 10.8 for the version, and click "Next"

Set the Virtual Machine name and installation path, and click "Next"

After setting the number of processors, click Next.

Set the disk capacity and click Next.

By default, click Next.

Click Finish to end creation.

Use the downloaded tool UltraISO to convert the mac OS x file in dmg format to the iso format.

After the ISO conversion is complete, right-click the name of the created virtual machine, select Settings, edit the virtual machine, and associate the iso file. The specific operations are as follows:

After a while, go to the language selection page.

Select the disk tool in the tool for partitioning.

Select the created partition and format the data, as shown in. Click the bottom right corner to erase

Disable the partition tool and choose to reinstall OS X.

Select agree to the terms and enter the next item

Select the created partition and click the installation option to install it.

The installation process takes about half an hour. After the installation is complete, perform simple settings, including the boot password, Apple ID and Icloud, and find my Mac. You can access the Mac OS X 10.8 operating system. The interface is as follows:

 

After the Mac operating system is installed, open the browser inside and you can directly go to the Apple official website. Search for xcode on the website to go to The Xcode download page.
