First look at the final effect:
I. Drawing of Entities
1. Start 3dmax9.0, click the Geometry button in the Create Command panel, select the standard base item in the Drop-down list, click the Cylinder button, draw a cylinder Cylinder01 in the view, and hold down the SHIFT key. Drag it to produce a second cylinder Cylinder02, as shown in Figure 1.
2, select two cylinders, click the "Modify" command panel, in the "Modifier list" drop-down box, select the "Twisted" item, and enter its parameters panel, modify the corresponding angle, the effect is shown in Figure 2.
Tip: The angle is the angle at which the model is distorted, the offset is used to set the skew, the twist axis is used to set the center axis of the distortion, and the restriction is used to frame the warp range. The higher the value of the preceding height segment is, the better the distortion will be.
3. Select two cylinders at the same time, go to the "Modify" command panel, select "Bend" in the Drop-down list, go to its property panel and modify the angle value as shown in Figure 3.
4, hold down the SHIFT key, drag two cylinders with the move tool, produce 4 duplicate pieces, and adjust their position, as shown in Figure 4.
5. Click the "Graphics" button in the "Create" command panel, click the "Text" Create button, draw a text text01-"Beijing 2008" in the front view, and adjust its position as shown in Figure 5.
6, continue to select the "Modifier list" drop-down box in the "Chamfer" item, add some special effects to the text, adjust its chamfer value, to achieve the rendering effect as shown in Figure 6.
