In order to better search for local information, I think of the Geographic Information System (GIS) that I just came into contact with when I graduated from college ).
When I was working in Zhengzhou, the company made GPS and LBS positioning services, so I still had some knowledge about GIS systems. However, it is a desktop version of the system, using Mapx to directly operate on local map files, so the difference with Webgis is great. Although you have had intuition for a long time, Webgis will certainly be the mainstream application in the future, but you have never had a chance to study it in depth.
Currently, there are basically three types of Webgis platforms: Professional GIS service providers, such as MapInfo and ESRI, and domestic SuperMap,, and MapGIS, they mainly sell GIS software and platform solutions. The second is to provide various Webgis services, such as Mapbar, Mapabc, and Go2Map. If the first category is traditional software vendors, the latter is a typical Internet enterprise, and the former sells products, the latter sells services. I am more optimistic about the latter. After all, it is not so easy to deploy a set of Webgis. Besides, GIS software is silly and expensive, and it is hard for small and medium-sized enterprises to afford it. Third, open-source GIS software, where WEBGIS servers are representative of GeoServer and Deegree, Spatial databases include PostGis, and commercial database Oracle has Spatial data Spatial since 8.2. Open source is a good choice for those of us who have no money but want to build their own Webgis platform as they wish. However, open-source things are not yet commercialized. The performance and functions are much inferior. However, you just need to meet your requirements.
Our requirements for Webgis are very low, mainly because we can edit data through webpages, and there are no performance requirements, because most of them are used by several customer service personnel. It is mainly because the background processing will be stored in the Oracle spatial database, and all the search is processed in the background. There is no complicated process of loading the map display.
The initial idea is to use EasyLoader to import the existing Mapinfo format map to the Oracle Spatial space database (the database is ready for use, so Postgis is not considered for the time being ), geoSever is deployed between databases and Web servers as GIS middleware to access maps. The structure is as follows:
