Define the Lotus Notes View column of the publishing attribute
Follow these steps to observe how component attributes are published in the Lotus Notes View column:
In Lotus Domino designer V8, select File-Application-open, and then select lgcontacts. nsf from the dialog box. This Lotus Notes applicationProgramThe title is Lukas Geiger 8.0 contacts.
Click views in the design panel to display the View list in the work panel.
On the Work panel, select my contacts and click Enter to open the view in design mode. Click OK in the warning dialog box.
In the view, click the second column (label is name) to select it.
Select Design-column properties to open the attribute box of the selected column.
Select the last tab in the property box. Note that selectednamechanged is selected in the composite settings property list, as shown in Figure 11. This option specifies the column value of the row selected for publishing as the attribute.

Close the attribute box.
Select File-close to close the view. Do not save unintentional changes.
You have seen how to publish properties from the Lotus Notes view. In the options box, you can select any property defined in the WSDL of the Lotus Notes application. The Lotus Notes contacts design template (pernames. ntf) contains this attribute and other attributes. In subsequent courses, this view will be used as an NSF component and connected to an NSF component in the ndforum application to form an event/Action relationship.
