Building Oracle Virtual Environments

In many books about Oracle's database management, it's often said that you want to put different types of files on different disks. In the process of individual self-study, it is not possible to implement multiple disks. Here's how to construct a simulated environment by creating a directory on disk.

Directory backup is used for database backups. The failure to do so may cause the database system to crash and may sometimes have to reload the Oracle system. To prevent this kind of thing from happening, make a full backup below. If the database crashes, simply restore the database with a backup, without having to re-install Oracle. Here are the steps to backup.

Sql> Connect sys/123456 as Sysdba
