Building the DNS service

1. Related configuration files for DNS

   /etc/hosts Local Host List

   /etc/nssswitch.conf Local Host Query method

   /etc/host.conf

   /etc/resolv.conf Client DNS Queries

   Bind and Bind-chroot for DNS packages

   The home directory for DNS is in/var/named/chroot

   /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf DNS Global Security configuration file

//name.rfc1912.zones Log DNS forward and reverse resolved configuration files

Two Start the experiment.

First enter the IP address and the domain name in the/etc/hosts to write down

Then verify that the IP address can be seen

Then use Yum to install both the bind and bind-chroot packages, which is the DNS installation package

Then the service named restart can take effect,

Immediately after Chkconfig named on, the reboot will take effect.

Then you can see the named folder under/var.

Enter/VAR/NAMED/CHROOT/ETC to see named.conf this configuration file.

You can get into it.

Then go into the named.rfc1912.zones, and configure the forward and reverse parsing of the domain name

Then go into the/var/named/chroot/var/named to see the two files of Named.localhost and Named.empty

The next thing to do is to create the files Example.zone and zone.example two files, and then copy the contents of Named.localhost and named.empty to them, it is worth noting that all groups must be named

Then go into the forward domain file Example.zone and reverse domain name file zone.example, modify it as follows

Then restart the service

Finally, with Nslookup analysis, through the know, Test success!!!
