String is a very common type of data in C language, and learning to master strings has a certain effect on understanding C and C language pointers.

What is a string?

String: The string is an array of char types at the end of a null character, or a character encoded as 0.

As you can see from this definition, the first string is an array, the elements in the second array are of type char, and the third ends with a null character (.). There may be questions here about why the string is an array? Why does a string end with a null character?
