Cabarc.exe:Cabinet Tool

This command-line tool allows the users to create, query and extract Windows cabinet (CAB) files.

• CABARC does not allow you to add files to an existing CAB (. cab) file.

Concepts

A CAB file or cabinet file is a single file created to hold a number of compressed files and used for the installation of Software products. When a program is installed, the files within the cabinet file is decompressed and copied to their appropriate directory Loca tions. Windows CAB files use the extension. cab.
