For the convenience of comparison, the MS represents microsttaion, and ACAD represents AutoCAD.
Comparison: Operation Interface Class
I. Interface layout:
The overview is basically the same, including the menu bar, toolbar, main window, Status Bar, and input window. However, there are still some differences between the two for careful comparison.
1. menu bar:
You can move the menu in MS to change the position;

2. toolbar:
In ms, the toolbar can be adjusted based on the size of the current window and its placement, that is, all the tools on the dock are displayed normally; you can drag out the sub-toolbar under the main toolbar. You can customize the sub-toolbar. The operation is not in the Microsoft Component Mode. There are two types: single toolbar and double toolbar. The width of the two single toolbar is different from that of the two toolbar when the dock is executed. The tool icon has a large size and occupies a large space;
In ACAD, the system is not responsible for the display of the toolbar, and does not guarantee that all the content in the toolbar is displayed on the screen. You cannot drag the sub-toolbar out or customize it, the operation does not belong to the Microsoft Component Mode. There is only one type, that is, a single toolbar. The size of the tool icon is small and the occupied space is small;
Comparison results: MS is more considerate than ACAD in the parking position and display of the toolbar, but the size definition of the toolbar is insufficient and too large, which causes the size of the Work display window to be compressed. Of course, if there is a dual screen, these interfaces are meaningless to the masses. ACAD is more flexible and quick than ms in the toolbar customization. The overall layout and display effect are better than those of Ms.
3. Main Window:
In ms, a view is called a view. A maximum of eight View windows can be displayed simultaneously. Comparison results: ACAD is superior to ms in the layout of the main window, and the development of the mouse function is also stronger than MS, which is easier to operate. However, Ms seems to be better at ACAD in view processing.

Ms is divided into several areas, from left to right: function prompt area, history operation area, capture area, lock area, layer display area, selection area, fence area, work mode area and storage display area;
Function prompt area: displays prompts during command operations in all Ms. Therefore, some ACAD commands only provide feedback, but do not provide input;
Operation area: All operations you perform are displayed;

The functions implemented in the MS state zone are messy, and many features can be combined in my personal opinion. The features of the entire software are that the division of many functions is very small, so it will give people this feeling;
The state zone of ACAD is relatively simple, which maintains the original style, which is also a historical reason. Because the original version of ACAD has fewer display settings, it is added through continuous version updates.
5. Input window:
In ms, there is a real display mode. One is the status bar mode and the other is the command window mode. Currently, most of them are in the previous mode, however, the latter is the main interface in the use of a Ms extension package produced by Intergraph, which is mainly used for 3D design of factory pipelines.
In status bar mode, to enter a command, open the key-in window, which is the command input window. Unlike ACAD, it is not displayed in the form of a line, but a combination of some commands. There is no corresponding value returned in the window. Here, only the command input is completed, other data is displayed in other windows;
The ACAD input window is also the most common practice. It displays all ACAD commands and operation options here. Whether you are loading a program, plotting or modifying it, it is done here. This is also the consistent style of ACAD since its launch, so there is nothing to say more;
Comparison result:
Too many inputs can be made in MS, including the element selection window, accudraw window, command keyin window, and data point keyin window, which are very complicated, especially for those who are used to ACAD style input, this is simply a torment and cannot be found. I don't want to worry about it, I will give you more detailed analysis in the future, which may help you understand Ms. Indeed, Ms is very powerful in many aspects, but it seems a bit confusing, many functions can be implemented in multiple ways, which is confusing and repetitive;
The ACAD input window is so simple and clear that it is my preference;

After so long, it seems that Ms cannot be compared with Acad. Why do I need to publicize Ms?

No, because I want to promote MS not to show that Ms is better than ACAD, nor to say that ACAD is better than Ms. The two have their own strengths and weaknesses. The key is what platform you need, what kind of functions makes you feel like painting is a pleasure.
