Failure phenomena:
Can't find or install apps from the Windows store
Solution:
The following may be some reasons why apps cannot be found or installed from the Windows store:
This app is not available in your country or region. Although an app may be available in several different countries or regions, the developer may have decided not to publish the app in your country or region. This means you can see the app description page on the Web, but when you try to view the app in the store, you'll see a message about the app being unavailable.
Your preferences may hide the app. You can set preferences in the store to make it easier to find apps that use your preferred language or include accessibility features. If these settings are turned on, apps that don't match your preferences will be hidden when you browse or search the store. For more information about preferences, see Set preferences for Windows store.
Family safety may have hidden apps due to age ratings. Parents can use Family Safety settings to ensure that their child cannot view or install apps that are not appropriate for their age from the store. For more information about family Safety, see Using Family Safety with the Windows store.
The payment method associated with your account is not in your country or region. To purchase an app from the store in a specific country or region, your payment method must be from that country or region. For more information, see Using the Windows store in another country or region.
The app is no longer available in the store. In some cases, the app may have been removed from the store. This means you can see the app description page on the Web, but when you try to view the app in the store, you'll see a message about the app being unavailable.
Your computer's processor is not compatible with the app. The App Store automatically hides apps that aren't compatible with your PC's processor to prevent you from installing apps that can't run on your PC. This means that the same app is available in the store on one PC, but may not be available on other PCs that use different processors.
Your computer does not conform to the system requirements of your application. If your computer does not meet the system requirements for an app, you will not be able to install the app. To see the system requirements for your app, scroll down to the details section of the app description page in the store. If your PC meets the system requirements for your app, but you can't install it, check to make sure you're not logged in to your computer or App store with a temporary or guest account.
Your computer has recently been updated, but has not been restarted. If you've recently installed an update for Windows, you'll need to restart your computer before you can install apps from the store.
If you check all the possible causes listed, but still can't find the app or can't install the app, you can try clearing the cache for Windows store on your PC.
