Cannot connect to remote postgresql, connect to postgresql

If postgresql is installed on a remote server, adding a server using pgAdmin will never work.

Solution:

Add host all 0.0.0.0/0 trust to pg_assist.conf on the remote postgresql database.

Make sure that the parameter in postgresql. conf is set to listen_addresses = '*'

Restart after modification:

/Bea/PostgreSQL/9.3/bin/pg_ctl stop

/Bea/PostgreSQL/9.3/bin/pg_ctl start

If it is reported during startup, pg_ctl: no database directory specified and environment variable PGDATA unset sets the environment variables.

PGDATA =/bea/PPAs/9.3/data
Export PGDATA

If cst log: cocould not create IPv6 socket: IP address family not supported by the Protocol is reported, the connection is ignored and the connection is not affected.
