Cannot obtain ADT by configuring Android Development Environment eclipse
After installing Android SDK eclipse to get ADT, but due to the existence of GFW, eclipse often cannot get anything from the http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse. The solution is as follows:
In the past, installing ADT was not a problem at all, but now it is a big problem. Unicom's broadband network cannot even connect www.google.com.hk. How do you call us p-people?
Regardless of https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse
Or http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse
Can not be accessed normally, will prompt Android ADT unable to connect to repository http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/content.xml
At the beginning, I thought it was the eclipse version that could not adapt to the new ADT version. After trying a few versions, I found that it was not.
Obviously, if the Chinese network is in harmony with the Google server, you can force it to point to the hosts. The following content is added:
74.125.237.1 dl-ssl.google.com
Procedure:
Directory: c: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc find the hosts file, it is actually a plain text file,
1. Open it with notepad
2. Add the 74.125.237.1 dl-ssl.google.com to the last line of the hosts file
3. Save and close hosts and restart eclipse
4. Start eclipse, click Help> install new software in the menu, click Add in the displayed window, enter your custom name in name, and enter in location:
