MDaemon is an excellent email server software. Here we will introduce the installation and some main settings of MDaemon in combination with the dynamic domain name of the peanut shell.

4. After setting, log on to the peanut shell client again.

Step 2: InstallMDaemonEmail Service Program

I strongly recommend that you install MDaemon in English version. Although the English version features the same as the Chinese version, it supports Chinese Webmail and mail, but the English version has fewer bugs than Chinese versions!
To install MDaemon, select the installation language and the first English language, for example:

Select the MDaemon installation directory

Enter the name, company name, and registration code. If there is no registration code, it will be blank.

Click "Next"

Copying files:

Enter your domain name here, that is, the right part of the mailbox @, for example, your mailbox is a xxx@Root.net, then you enter root.net.

Enter the Administrator account and password.

Enter the DNS server used by the email system. If the default value is used, MDaemon will use the Operating System DNS to resolve the domain name.

If you select the default DNS settings, the software automatically obtains the DNS address of the Windows Nic as the resolution server for sending emails. It is often possible that no email can be sent because the DNS has not been resolved to the email server of the destination domain name. You can go to the oray.net forum to get an efficient DNS server address for technical staff. In this interface, let's select the mail server display mode. We select the advanced mode because various functions can be used more intuitively in the advanced mode.

In this step, the window prompts whether to log on to MDaemon as a service. We select it hereProgramEmbedding the program in the service will not be caused by graphical interface errors and the entire program will be closed. In general, the program will be relatively stable. In addition, the program in the service runs automatically when it is not logged into the system. This means that after the server is restarted, the email server is automatically started as long as the NIC is connected, you do not need to remotely connect to the server and then open the mail server program.
