Replication_factor determines how many nodes a data will be written to. A 2 indicates that you want to write to two nodes.

The consistency level determines how many nodes a client waits to be written successfully. 1 means that the customer sends the next write request as long as the first node is written successfully.

The read operation also has its own consistency level, which determines the behavior of the read operation.

If there is only one node server, the missing setting Replication_factor is 2?

Cassandra will only write once.
