I had a good time last night and had a lot of regrets and expectations. Below are a few general columns, hoping to be improved in the future:
- No volume key, no back, or home key. Therefore, if a third-party player does not provide its own volume control bar, the user experience will be poor.
- Sound problems: the volume is not well adjusted, especially after dragging to the middle and below, the change is small, while the middle and above, the change is very large. Of course, many people do not know that the volume adjustment in anroid is not linear, but something like a quadratic curve (the specific name is forgotten ). However, the step value can be adjusted. Amazon seems that the step value is too small.
- Brightness problem: the brightness is adjusted to the lowest or brighter. It seems that the power consumption will increase. And the changed curve is too steep. Estimation and 2 are a problem.
- Launcher: Sometimes it's too sensitive. I guess it's a program problem.
- Although there is no modem, 3 GB, it still feels a little heavy. In addition, the number of accessories is very small, which makes people feel that it is streamlined, while the number of accessories makes people feel that they are sold out. Just a pad + a charger. The worst thing is that the charger and USB cable are connected together and cannot be connected. If Amazon does not have a USB cable, how can I mount the pad to a computer?
- The external interface is very rough and cannot be completely inserted into the headset. It is always exposed. Although it does not affect the sound quality, it is always quite uncomfortable. In addition, the USB interface is not very reasonable. So do not dare to force the plug.
- People who do not know which pitfall said that the fire charging line is 2 meters long, it is very convenient to charge while reading in bed. As a result, I took a bath and was eager to give it a try. The result showed that the line was too short. You have a lung on me!
Let's talk about software:
- I use fresh fruit to watch the news. When the scroll bar is scroll up or down, it is often not smooth. This problem should be caused by Android itself. The fire hardware configuration is high enough. I personally think it is not a hardware problem, but a UI painting problem. But I'm wondering why Samsung Galaxy didn't appear?
- Because the home/back key is not available, fire adds a statusbar-like item under the screen and adds soft buttons (including the home, back, menu, and search keys ). But it is not doing well. I suggest Amazon refer to the practices of virtual buttons in android4.0.
- Because the system is still using 2.3, which was originally used on the mobile phone, many software have become ugly on the screen. The button is different from the overall layout. Some buttons are squashed and some are stretched. I think this is a problem with Android. Think about the windows development interface, such as MFC, whether on a notebook of all sizes or display, are consistent. Some open-source interfaces written with GTK often have different sizes of screens with distorted UI. It seems to be related to the system's uidesign. Google does not have much experience in this field, so it prefers to be more powerful in the future.
- These services provided by Amazon are basically not available in China. Therefore, it takes a lot of effort to sell well in China.
- No wonder before the launch of the fire, there were predictions about intensifying Android differentiation. Indeed, this deep customization made me very uncomfortable at first. Later, I thought about it. To a large extent, it was because it didn't have so many buttons and even sound keys. It was a bit difficult to say ....
