Symptom

When you run Microsoft Windows XP on a computer and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Runtime error!
Program C:/program files/Internet Explorer/iw.e. exe
R6025
Pure virtual function call
In addition, when you click OK to disable this error message, Internet Explorer 6 may be disabled.
Cause
This problem may occur if an application using the Microsoft Active accessibility programming interface runs on the computer.

Solution
Install Windows Update pack 928090 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928090/) MS07-016: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer
