If the Excel2007 formula is incorrectly written, a variety of error messages are displayed in the cell. When you see these strange error codes, some friends may get flustered or even upset.
In fact, any error has its intrinsic reason, we will discuss the type and reason of the code recognition error based on the formula return error value, and the corresponding processing method, help friends to deal with all kinds of common mistakes easily.
Error display 1:#####!
Reason: The cell contains a number, date, or time that is wider than the cell.
Solution: Drag the mouse pointer to change the column width.
Error display 2: #NUM!
why: As the name suggests, there is a problem with the number in the formula--type error, or the number exceeds the valid range of Excel representations.
Solution: Make the number type and size meet the requirements.
Error display 3: #REF!
reason: The cell referenced by the formula is deleted or overwritten by an error.
Solution: The temporary change after the timely "undo" to restore the original cell.
Error display 4: #VALUE!
cause A: text is entered when a number or logical value is required, such as cell B1 is number 15 and cell B2 is text, then entering the formula "=B1+B2" in B3 returns the error value #value!
Solution A: Make sure that the cells that the formula refers to contain valid values. In the example above, the =sum (B1:B2) can be entered in the B3, and the SUM function ignores the text, so the result shows 15.
Reason B: A single value should have been referenced, but a region has been referenced.
Solution B: Change the range of values to a single value, or modify the range of values so that it contains the data row or column in which the formula is located.
