How document data is managed

When the drawing is uploaded to the document, the system will be saved to the server via a network cable and encrypted as a "file_. Dat" file. These files can only browse, edit and so on through the login map Document System.

1, files uploaded to the document, will be stored in the server "Vaultcheckedin" folder;

2, the document file out of the library editor, the system will be copied from the server to a local hidden folder;

3, after the release of the file, the system will be moved to the "Vaultrelease" folder;

4, after the file is archived, the system will move it to the "Vaultobsolete" folder;

5, Template Library "Vaulttemplate" to store some of the company's unified template documents;

System Automatic Backup

As shown in Figure 1 below, the document server can set up the storage path of the electronic warehouse, log file and so on to set up the automatic backup.

The automatic backup parameters are shown in Figure 2. Check the automatic backup, set the save path, set the time of automatic backup, the system can automatically back up data.

There are a few things to note:

1. After the parameter is set, the Caxa Vault Server service needs to be stopped and restarted before it can take effect;

2, the time of automatic backup, computer to boot, document server-side normal startup, in order to back up;

3, data backup can only back up the storage files, out of the library to edit the file can not be backed up;

4, after the data backup is completed, will back up into a database file "Backup.dat", and three Folders "Checkedin, release, Obsolete" and its file library; log files, template files can not be automatically backed up, need to manually backup;

5. After several backups, multiple database files are integrated in "Backup.dat", so this file will be large after multiple backups, and the file library will back up all the storage, publishing, and archive files. The backup library will get all the historical data of the document;

System Manual Backup

The system can also be backed up manually.

1, click on the document server side of the "Data Backup", click on the "designated backup file", given a backup file name, you can make a backup;

2, data backup can only back up the storage files, out of the library to edit the file can not be backed up;

3, after the completion of data backup, will be backed up into a database file, as well as three folders "Checkedin, release, Obsolete" and its file library files, log files, template files can not be automatically backed up, need to manually copy backup;

4, the backup of the data, the best to engrave or use a special data disk for off-site backup;

System Restore

1, manual stop Caxa Vault service;

2, the backup of the file library (Checkedin, obsolete, release), Template Library (template), log file logs, etc. to the server-side electronic warehouse corresponding folder, covering the original document;

3, start SQL SERVER, restore the database Pdem. Select the database files (such as Backup.dat) that are backed up automatically, and select the restore time;

4, after normal restore check the server-side of the electronic warehouse settings, log settings, etc. is correct;

5, restart the server computer, landing document check whether the normal data;

Attention matters

Based on security considerations, the data in the document is encrypted, can not distinguish its corresponding source file, so backup time it is best to back up all the historical data, restore time to choose to restore the corresponding data. The electronic warehouse file creation time is consistent with the import time, so can also be sorted by this time, select the appropriate time period for data backup.

If today found yesterday mistakenly deleted a batch of drawings, and just the day before yesterday there is automatic backup, the operation is as follows:

1, completes the database "Pdem" the backup;

2, the database "Pdem" restored to the day before yesterday's data, the electronic warehouse path changes to automatic backup of the warehouse path;

3, landing graphics and text files, find the same day deleted drawings, the bulk of the export;

4, the database "Pdem" to restore the time just to do the backup;

5, the drawings that have just been exported to the graphics file.
