Yesterday in the virtual machine installed CentOS 7 o'clock selected Gnome mode installation, boot default into GUI mode. Search online to modify the default command-line mode method, see said to modify the/etc/inittab file, at the lowest next line to add
ID:3
But using
Cat /etc/inittab
command to view the Inittab file, you can see the following:
The contents of the first red box indicate that Inittab is no longer in use.
The second red box shows two boot modes: Multi-user.target and Graphical.target modes, named command line multiuser mode and graphical interface mode.
The third red box shows how to change the default startup mode: Systemctl Set-default target.target, where Target.target is Multi-user.target or graphical.target.
So let's open the command line and enter it at the command line:
Systemctl Set-default Multi-user.target
This way, the default startup mode is multi-user command-line mode.
In this mode, it is convenient to switch between six users by pressing ALT+[F1~F6].
