CentOS installation graphical interface

Previously, CentOS was installed on the platform where the basic system was installed, excluding the desktop.

In this case, you can directly use the yum command to install the GUI.

 

Yum groupinstall "Desktop" yum groupinstall "X Window System"

Another method is to select Customize now after the Basic Serve option is selected during installation.

 

Select all options except KED Desktop.

Use the second method for installation. The graphic interface is automatically displayed at startup. Generally, remote logon is used, and the GUI is unavailable. The following figure shows how to automatically enter the graphic interface when you cancel power-on:

Modify the/etc/inittab file.
