After Centos6.2 is installed, we often need to update the system. Normally, we use Centos official sources directly. However, if you use official sources in China to find that the connection speed is slow, you can consider using the 163 source to complete system updates more quickly. The following Fengxin network will teach you how to change the Centos 163 source, and perform the following operations after logging on to the root: cd/etc/yum. repos. d/# enter the source directory

The following Fengxin network will teach you how to change the Centos 163 source and perform the following operations after logging on to the root user:

Cd/etc/yum. repos. d/# enter the source directory
Mv CentOS-Base.repo CentOS-Base.repo.bak # backup source files

Vi CentOS-Base.repo # Editing source files

Replace the following content with the content in the original file

# CentOS-Base.repo
#
# This file uses a new release list system developed by Lance Davis for CentOS.
# The mirror system uses the connecting IP address of the client and
# Update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# Geographically close to the client. You shoshould use this for CentOS updates
# Unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the specified list = does not work for you, as a fall back you can try
# Remarked out baseurl = line instead.
