Centos6.2 install Opera

Not that you don't want to install chrome, but you can't install it.

Download Opera

Wget http://get.geo.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/1200/opera-12.00-1467.i386.linux.tar.bz2

Extract

Tar-jxf opera-12.00-1467.i386.linux.tar.bz2

./Install

Enter all the way

The installation is successful.

 

Note: Go to the official website http://cn.opera.com/browser/download/. do not select default fomat to use tar.bz2. Otherwise, download the RPM package,

The following error occurs:

[Root @ centos file] $ rpm-IVH opera-12.00-1467.i386.rpm
Error: Failed dependencies:
Rpmlib (payloadislzma) <= 4.4.6-1 is needed by opera-12.00-1467.i386

The same is true for installing Chrome's RPM package ~

To enable opera to support flash, decompress

1. Download the plug-in
Flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_linux_111710.tar.gz

2. Install the plug-in
1. decompress the flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_linux_111710.tar.gz file and obtain libflashplayer. So.
2) run the following command on the terminal:
$ Mkdir-P ~ /. Opera/plugins
$ CP download/install_flash_player_10_linux/libflashplayer. So ~ /. Opera/plugins

Restart opera.
