I. rpmforge software library

Rpmforge is a software library that contains more than 4000 types of centos software. It is considered safe and stable by the centos community.

 

Ii. Install rpmforege

1. Download the corresponding rpmfile at http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release. (My version is rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm)

2. Execute

Rpm-IVH rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm
