1 Installation Environment Preparation
Burned an ISO image with a USB flash drive or disc to make a good installation disk
2 Operating system Installation
Choose to boot the server from the optical drive or USB stick
2.1 Starting the operating system installation steps
Select: Install CentOS Linux 7 click: Enter
2.2 Pop-up, select the operating system language, if no special needs can be in English by default
2.3 Eject, start configuring the time zone, installation mode, disk partitioning, configuring the network
2.3.1 Configuring time zone selection: Asia/shanghai
2.3.2 Selecting the installation mode
Select Minimal Install If you do not need the desktop
If you need a desktop environment, select GNOME Desktop
2.3.3 Select a disk, select a custom partition, and follow the instructions shown in
2.3.3.1 Popup, select the LVM partition format and follow the instructions shown
2.3.3.2 eject, set partition size
2.3.3.3 Please adjust the partition size according to the description
Note: For the production environment, it is recommended to assign/allocate 100GiB remaining space as a data disk to the specified directory such as/data.
2.3.3.4 Popup, choose Accept Change
2.3.4 Configure the network and host name, click Configure
2.3.4.1 Eject, configure the network boot from boot as shown
2.3.4.2 Configuring IP Addresses
2.3.4.3 Popup, click Done to complete the network and hostname configuration
2.4 After the initialization configuration is complete. Single Machine begin Installatation
2.5 Eject, configure root PASSWORD
Note: Minimal installation does not create a user, and if you install a desktop environment you need to create
2.6 Enter password
2.7 Configuring Users
2.8 When the installation is complete, click Reboot
2.9 After rebooting, enter the interface and click License Infomation
2.10 Select Accept License
2.11 Click Finish CONFIGURATION
2.12 Pop-up, can be logged in with the root user
2.13 The operating system installation is complete
