Decompress the package and put it under the/usr/lib64 directory. If yes, back up the package and replace it with another one, just in case. Run the following three commands:

Sudo rpm-Uvh https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm

Sudo rpm-Uvh http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop/el7/x86_64/nux-dextop-release-0-5.el7.nux.noarch.rpm

Sudo yum install vlc

Open an mp3 file

Open mp3 and find that there is no decoder. Click search.

The plug-in has been found at this time. Click [install] to install the plug-in (bad AND uugly in this place are hard to understand), and then re-open the mp3 file.
