The default kernel version of CentOS7 is 3.10. to test the dockeroverlay network mode, the kernel must be 3.16 or later. Elrepo is required for Kernel upgrade
The default kernel version of CentOS 7 is 3.10.
The reason for upgrading the kernel is that you want to test the docker overlay network mode.
In docker overlay network mode, the kernel must be 3.16 or later.
Elrepo yum source is required for Kernel upgrade
First, import the elrepo key.

2. install elrepo source

rpm -Uvh http://www.elrepo.org/elrepo-release-7.0-2.el7.elrepo.noarch.rpm |
3. in the ELRepo source of yum, mainline is the kernel of the latest version.
Install the ml kernel

yum --enablerepo=elrepo-kernel install kernel-ml-devel kernel-ml -y |
4. modify the kernel startup sequence. the default boot sequence is 1. after the upgrade, the kernel is inserted to the front, and the value is 0.
5. restart the system
6. view the kernel version
