CentOS7.1 add and delete users

Add the user [root @ wode006home] # addusereric [root @ wode006home] # change the password [root @ wode006home] # passwderic to change the password of user eric. New password: invalid password: The password must be less than 8 characters long and enter the new password again:

Add user

[Root @ wode006 home] # adduser eric

[Root @ wode006 home] #

 

Change password

[Root @ wode006 home] # passwd eric

Change the password of user eric.

New password:

Invalid password: The password must be less than 8 characters long

Re-enter the new password:

Passwd: all authentication tokens have been successfully updated.

[Root @ wode006 home] #

 

Delete users and home directories

[Root @ wode006 home] # userdel-rf eric

[Root @ wode006 home] # ls

[Root @ wode006 home] #
