CERNET uses the IRC server freenode on ipv6-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. In CERNET, The freenode server cannot be connected directly to irc.freenode.net.
I searched google today and accidentally found that CERNET can be connected to ipv6.chat.freenode.net in ipv6.
But the above mentioned pidgin does not support ipv6, but I tried my own pidgin and found that it is okay!
Now we have successfully connected freenode. You can enter fedora and wait for the room to chat: time: 1
