By default, Microsoft Pinyin input is automatically opened when a user opens the Word 2010 document window. This feature is convenient for users who often enter Chinese characters, but for users who often enter English characters, it is necessary to turn off the Microsoft Pinyin input method every time. In fact, the user can change the default input method for Word 2010 as the English state, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2012010801.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box and switch to the Advanced tab. In the edit Options area, cancel the Input method control is active check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2012010802.
