Change the IP address of the CVS server in eclipse

To change the IP address of a repository in eclipse, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the CVS server is successfully started and runs properly;
2. Start eclipse, as shown in

3. Open the project that needs to change the IP address of the CVS warehouse;

4. After the project, we can see that the IP address of the current CVS warehouse is 198.10.10.18. Our current goal is to change it to 198.10.20.small;
5. Choose "Windows"> "show View"> "other"> "CVS"> "CVS repositoris" from eclipse, as shown in;

6. The history of the previously created cvs repository is displayed in the CVS repositoris tab, as shown in;

5. First, disconnect the project from the CVS warehouse;

6. Select "retain CVS related records" in the prompt window, as shown in;

7. The interface after the disscount operation is completed is shown in. the IP address of the CVS warehouse is no longer displayed after the project;

8. Now, re-Disconnect the project and share the project, as shown in. Remember to remove the valiate XXXX finished

9. After the operation is completed, the IP address of the CVS warehouse is already in the project, and the 198.10.20.18 record is also in the CVS tab, as shown in

 

10. Right-click to enter the property setting interface, as shown in: Change the IP address to the IP address you want to change. Here is: 198.10.20.large

11. After the change, a red error message is displayed, indicating that the path already exists. You need to delete the path before performing the operation;

12. Right-click, as shown in;

13. Click the disscount path to delete the record. For example;

14. At this time, the CVS Warehouse record of 198.10.20.18 is no longer available and deleted;

15. In this case, delete the IP address of 198.10.20.18 again, or right-click to display the attribute menu;

16. Change ip198.10.20.18 to: 198.10.20.success. No error is reported;

17. Click application. The following page is displayed. Click OK,

18. Click "OK". If the repository is shared, the related information will be updated;

19. Now the project is changed to the CVS Repository IP address 198.10.20.20;

20. Update the CVS repository;

21. The password is entered;

22. update relevant information normally;

23. There are no related files to be updated;

24. The IP address of the CVS repository has been changed;
