Chengdu snacks experience

Snacks in Chengdu are well-known throughout the country. The most famous among them are: longchushou, zhongshui dumplings, burden noodles, Lai Tangyuan, ye 'er Miao, Sichuan North jelly, etc, this time I have eaten the top several snacks at a time.

The name of the longchushou is good and famous. The longchushou is a bit similar to the wonton of Shanghai, but the skin is thinner. The soup has different tastes, such as the original flavor, seafood, and chicken soup. I personally feel that it tastes average and has no special taste.

Bell dumplings I think are the best of these snacks in Chengdu: The head is slightly smaller than the "Lady dumplings", the soup is red, there is a layer of oil on it, it looks very spicy. But put it in your mouth with only a little spicy and sweet. The wonton is a little bit "Raw", and it is a little hard to eat (compared with the "Lady dumplings"), but it feels more chewy. I think this snack brings the sweetness of Chengdu and Shanghai to the extreme: it is a little spicy, but it is not so spicy that you only feel spicy, while ignoring the original taste of the food, it is a bit sweet, but it is very subtle, just reached the level that can be "fresh", let people have an endless aftertaste, like! I believe most shanghaiese should like this snack.

The master who made the burden noodles probably added salt twice. Anyway, the bowl of noodles I eat was so salty that I had to die: before eating, I had to mix the special ingredients. After mixing, the appearance was quite attractive, I just gave up and asked the waiter to have a bowl of soup. However, the meat in the noodles is delicious. It would be nice to bring it back to eat porridge in the morning.

Lai Tangyuan is slightly smaller than the dumplings in frozen foods such as Longfeng and Wanchai wharf, and the skins are slightly thicker. The sesame seeds are not very sweet, so the taste is much better. I have always loved meat, so I am not very interested in this snack.

Ye ermiao, no feeling.

Sichuan North jelly is a little spicy. This person is not able to taste anything else, so he cannot comment.

Looking at these snacks, it is said that they were handed down by the best group of people who made them at that time (many snacks have a surname before their names, and it is estimated that they are the best, some of them may be missing from generation to generation. The name of the region, such as "Sichuan north", is used. Due to Chengdu's superior geographical position, rich products, and underdeveloped transportation in ancient times, so the local people make a variety of snacks, so that modern people can enjoy themselves.

The main store that has these snacks on chunxi road will definitely have to eat one more next time in Chengdu :)
