On June 18, May 20, China cable TV network Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China cable) and the state development bank formally signed the "development finance cooperation agreement". According to the agreement, CDB will provide China cable with a total amount of 20 billion RMB of Development financial loans over the next five years, so that China cable will form large-scale operation as soon as possible.
According to Li Dan, chairman of China cable, this loan is mainly used for new fixed assets projects, limited TV network integration, user network upgrade and transformation, program and information service development projects, and related cable digital development projects of China's cable digital TV business platform.
According to Li Dan, the 20 billion yuan fund was just the beginning. According to calculations, the average number of households involved in digital transformation is 1500 yuan. If the number is calculated by 0.1 billion, at least 150 billion yuan is required. There will be a lot of capital investment in the future.
Li Dan also told reporters that China cable and CEC are preparing to build a new joint-stock company with a set-top box as its main component.
At the same time, China Cable's digital pilot has already been launched in 16 cities nationwide. As the first pilot province, Hainan's digital transformation process has also entered the final signing stage.
