According to the report, Chinese tourists from South Korea increased from 2007 in late 1.068 million to 2013 in 4.326 million, with an average annual growth rate of 26.2%. Last year, Chinese tourists accounted for the largest proportion of all foreign tourists, reaching 35.5%. The per capita consumption of Chinese tourists in South Korea increased from $2008 in 1262 to $2013 in 2272, a surge of 80%.
Last year, the per capita consumption of Chinese tourists was 1684 times that of all foreign tourists (USD 1.3). The total consumption of Chinese tourists accounted for 49% of the total consumption of all foreign tourists, reaching 7.6722 trillion won. It is estimated that the consumption of Chinese tourists in South Korea last year has increased Korea's output value by 13.3717 trillion million yuan (about 82.3 billion yuan), creating 0.240798 million jobs.
