ArcGIS License Manager: [ArcGIS license management]
-------------------------------
1. Install ArcGIS License Management
2. Select "I Have ed the license by fax" [I have received the license by fax], and then click Create & edit [generate and edit].
3. Enter "nniso we love you", click "OK", [ignore subsequent errors], and click "Next" to complete installation.
4. Do not restart your computer
5. Copy arcgis.exe & license. dat (in the crack/esri.rar directory) to the installation directory (for example, c: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ license \ arcgis9x) to overwrite the file
6. Edit license. dat and replace workstation with your hostname [host name]. [The appendix describes how to obtain your host name.]
7. Start lmtools (License Manager tools)
8. click Configuration using services and select "arggis License Server"
9. Click Configure services to set
Path to the license file [license file path]:
C: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ license \ arcgis9x \ license. dat (for example) [Reference: License. dat path, which corresponds to your installation path. If you install it on disk D, the path may be D: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ license \ arcgis9x \ license. dat]

10. Click Save service.
11. Click start/stop/reread and start server.
You can click server diagnostic [diagnostic service] to confirm that all operations are correct.
12. Complete-Congrats

ArcGIS Desktop
------------
1. Install ArcGIS Desktop
Select the License Server, that is, the one you just installed.
(It will prompt you to ask ...)
2. When you finish, you will be asked if you want to install
-Tutorial (Getting Started)
-Developer kit (Development Kit)
-Crystal Report)

Tutorial (Getting Started) is in cd1. (you just installed it here)
Developer kit (Development Kit) in
Do not select crystal report. It has released an updated version, so we didn't include it here.

Appendix: Obtain the Host Name:
The following are the operating procedures of the WINXP operating system:
My computer-> right-click a computer-> properties-> computer name-> complete computer name
"Complete computer name" is your host name

developer kit is on CD2
crystal report unselect it, it has already been released
in even a newer version .. so we didnt include that.
