This problem occurs in ubuntu12.04, which is resolved as follows:

1. switch from user to root: sudo su

2. Execute the following command in the terminal:

Dpkg-l | grep resolv//Search Resolv

Apt-get Remove resolvconf//delete resolvconf

Reboot//Restart your computer

3. to change the Ubuntu DNS, you must edit the file "/etc/resolv.conf" and enter the following command in the terminal:sudo nano/etc/resolv.conf

4. Commented out "#nameserver 192.168.1.1" for Old DNS records, after adding good Google DNS records (nameserver 8.8.8.8 and nameserver 8.8.4.4), use the shortcut key "CTRL + X" to save the file

5. Some files will automatically modify the DNS server, we lock these files: chattr +i/etc/resolv.conf (if you need to unlock, use the following code: sudo chattr-i/etc/resolv.conf)
